Hello wonderful person,
Thank you for your interest in my workshop. This quarter, we will be learning how to use nine different programs (at a very basic level) to create a house (below) and two characters (click on the house) from My Neighbor Totoro by Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). The programs are detailed in the schedule. My objectives in teaching this quarter are to (1) make virtual design more accessible to a larger audience and (2) explain how to use these software titles in conjunction with each other, in a team workflow.
No prior design or software experience is required. Anyone is welcome to join at any point in the series. The workshop is on Mondays from 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM in Y2E2 184, with my 'office hours' (anything and everything) until 10:00 PM. First session begins on January 27.
Feel free to drop in anytime, but I would appreciate a sign up. Just fill in the form below.
If you need my email or access to Y2E2 after-hours, please see anran.li/y2e2access or send me a text (see Q&A).

I hope you are able to come to the workshops, and that I can help you get started on learning something new. If you have questions with a project, feel free to bring it to 'office hours' / therapy and I'll do my best to help. I'm learning, too!
